Prescription - Inventory Overview

  1. Refills Remaining = the number of refills permitted /indicated on the Prescription
  2. Refill Default Quantity = the amount of individual units (pills - tablets - capsules etc) per refill
  3. Medication Unit (pull down option list)
  4. Medication Unit options

  5. Lot Number = normally indicated on the prescription
  6. Inventory Tracking - check for on - uncheck for off
  7. If checked on
    • Inventory (starting date) = date you first start to take the prescription
    • Inventory Quantity (on starting date) = the amount of units (pills - tablets - capsules etc) you start with on the starting date.
    • Low Inventory Trigger = set the amount of units (pills - tablets - capsules etc) to indicate a prescription is running low and needs to be refilled
    • Note: The Inventory Tracking section (if ckecked on) is used as a benchmark for the database - it will keep a cumulative amount from the start date - as you add refills the amount will be adjusted to reflect the total amount that has been added to the inventory. The actual amount remaining in any particular cycle (from refill to refill) is indicated in the Prescriptions section below the Prescription name on the Main page
  8. Expiration Tracking - check for on - uncheck for off
  9. Expiration Tracking - check for on - uncheck for off
    • Expiration Date = date that a prescription expires
